How to generate a QR Code using Google Chrome for Android for Websites

With the increasing number of people getting digital these days, we often find ourselves scanning a QR code in our day to day lives. Have you ever thought of generating a QR code yourself?

Let's get right into the process of generating a QR code that is not just shareable but also leads you to a specific website. You will just need an 'Android Device' and 'Google Chrome App' installed in it.

1. Open Google Chrome on your device.

2. Write "Chrome:/flags" in the address bar.

3. Write "Sharing hub" in the search bar

4. You will now see a drop down box on the Chrome Sharing Hub feature, click on it and select "enabled"

5. Now, on the same page, clear the search bar and type "QR code"

6. Click on the box below 'Chrome Share QRCodes', select "enabled"

7. Click on "Relaunch".

This is just a one time process and you'll not require to do this again if you create a QR code for any other website.

1. Open Google Chrome

2. Open the website you want to generate a code for

3. Click on Address bar

4. Click on share

5. Click on the QR code from the share sheet that you see at the bottom of your screen

6. Download this and share your QR code.

And that's it guys. Now you can generate your own QR code for websites on your Android device.
